Import Members

Operating instructions for clubs, organizations or regulars' tables

Membplace can import existing member data from a club or group. This works best with an Excel spreadsheet. However, this Excel file must be formatted correctly. Otherwise, it will import the data into the wrong data fields. Here's an example of what an Excel file should look like:

  • Example Excel file

Column description:

A = Salutation

B = Title (e.g. Dr.)

C = First name

D = 2nd first name

E = family name

F = Address

G = postal code

H = country code

I = place

J = Country

K = Mobile number

L = Private number

M = Business number

N = email address

O = 2nd email address

P = Date of birth

Q = Date of joining the club

R = Member Category

S = Gender

T = Language

U = Function name

Important

For the import to work, the club profile must be present and properly prepared. Above all, the member categories must match according to column "R."

There must also be no blank lines in the table.

Where can I find the import function?

Go to the club profile. Then click on "Members." "Import/Export" will appear in the top right corner.

Tip

For small groups, we recommend adding members manually. This way, each entry is checked for accuracy. We also offer a support service to prepare the data for you (support@membplace.com).
