Who is Membplace suitable for?
Membplace is ideal for associations, clubs, communities, teams and informal groups – from sports clubs and parents' associations to regular get-togethers and hobby clubs.

Do you need to be tech-savvy to use Membplace?
No. Membplace is designed to be easy to use, even without any prior technical knowledge.

What happens when a member registers with Membplace?
The person can join existing groups or create new ones. Their contact details are always up to date – any changes are automatically synchronised with all groups.

Can member data be imported (Excel list/CSV file)?
Membplace can best import data from an Excel list. However, the table must be formatted correctly (column order and formatting). If you have created a club, you can send us the Excel file and we will import it. You can also do this yourself. See the instructions under "Download".

How much does it cost to manage a club on Membplace?

The basic functions are free of charge. Only the president or the person who creates the club (or group) on Membplace must have a VIP package. Of course, there are additional functions that can only be used if the club/group also purchases a paid package. Important: If membership fees or donations are collected through Membplace, transaction fees (credit card fees) will apply.

I would like to use Membplace, but I do not want to be recognised by third parties. Is this possible?

Yes, this is very conveniently solved on Membplace. In your profile, under the "Visibility in the club" function, you can select which club members can see you. If you set yourself as "invisible" in a club, only the president or club administrator will be able to see you. You can change this setting at any time. If you create a profile and do not belong to a club or group, no other users will be able to see you.

Can events also be planned?
Yes. Membplace offers an integrated event function with participant query, calendar overview and reminders.

How does member management work?
Admins always see an up-to-date member list with all important information. Contributions and roles can be easily assigned.

Can I share documents or photos with my group?
Yes. Each group has an area for files and photos that is accessible to all group members.

Is there a way to vote?
Yes. You can create simple electronic polls – this feature is being expanded continuously.

Where is the data stored?
All data is stored in Switzerland – securely, in compliance with GDPR and without being passed on to third parties.

Who can see my personal data?
Only groups you are a member of can see your contact details. You decide which data is public or private.

On which devices does Membplace work?
Membplace runs in your browser and as an app for Android and iOS.

Can I use Membplace alongside other tools?
Yes. Membplace can be used alongside existing systems without any problems – ideal as a supplement or temporary solution.

What do I do if I forget my password?
